Social Media Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Therapy Bee uses social media to share general educational content about grief, trauma, psychotherapy, relationships, life transitions, and practice updates. We want these spaces to remain thoughtful, respectful, and professionally responsible.
Educational information, not therapy
Therapy Bee's social media content is provided for general educational purposes. It does not constitute psychotherapy, clinical advice, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support.
Reading our content, following an account, commenting on a post, or sending a message does not establish a therapeutic relationship with Therapy Bee or any of its clinicians. Social media content is general and may not reflect an individual's circumstances or needs.
Privacy and confidentiality
Social media platforms are public and are not appropriate places to share personal, clinical, or identifying information.
Therapy Bee cannot guarantee the privacy or confidentiality of information posted in comments, messages, tags, or other interactions on social media. We may remove comments containing personal or identifying information, but we cannot guarantee that the information will not be seen by others before it is removed.
Please use Therapy Bee's website contact page for general inquiries about our services.
Current and former clients
Current and former clients are not expected to follow, comment on, or otherwise engage with Therapy Bee on social media. Whether you choose to follow a public Therapy Bee account is entirely your decision.
To protect privacy and professional boundaries, Therapy Bee and its clinicians will not publicly acknowledge whether someone is or has been a client. Therapy Bee clinicians will not follow clients from professional accounts or interact with client content in a way that could reveal or imply a therapeutic relationship.
Direct messages and comments
Therapy Bee may respond to general questions or direct people to publicly available information. We do not provide psychotherapy, clinical guidance, appointment management, or urgent support through social media comments or direct messages.
Social media accounts are not monitored continuously. A message, comment, or tag should not be understood as a request for clinical care or as notice of an emergency.
Community and moderation
Thoughtful discussion is welcome. Therapy Bee may hide or remove content that includes personal or identifying information, harassment, discrimination, misinformation, spam, promotional material, or language that could compromise someone's privacy or safety.
Therapy Bee does not request, publish, or repost client testimonials. Comments that identify or appear to identify someone as a Therapy Bee client may be removed to protect confidentiality.
Urgent or crisis support
Therapy Bee's social media accounts are not crisis services.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency department.
In Canada, call or text 9-8-8 for suicide crisis support at any time. If you are outside Canada, contact the emergency or crisis service available in your location.
