A THERAPY BEE COLLECTION

The Reading Room

Books for the experiences that ask more of us.

Some books explain. Some accompany. Some offer language for something that has been difficult to name. The Reading Room brings together selected titles related to grief, trauma, relationships, caregiving, mental health, and significant life transitions.

This is not a list of required reading. Take what feels useful, read at your own pace, and leave what does not fit your experience.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Read slowly. Pause freely.

Some of these books address death, traumatic loss, abuse, suicide, illness, family conflict, or other emotionally difficult experiences. It is okay to stop, skip a section, choose another book, or return at a different time.

A book does not have to be read from beginning to end to offer something meaningful.

A FINAL NOTE

Keep what speaks to you.

A book may offer recognition without providing every answer. You are welcome to read selectively, disagree, pause, or decide that a particular title is not right for you.

The right book is sometimes the one that gives you a sentence you did not have before.
